After many years of playing and use, handpan owners sometimes desire handpan retuning service. We only recommend handpan retuning service when absolutely necessary, such as when the handpan sounds ‘not right’ or damage has occurred. We are happy to provide this service to Isthmus Handpans at any time for our service charge, plus the cost of shipping to us if applicable. How many notes are on your pan, and do you know what material it’s made of (e.g., stainless steel, nitrided steel)? Can you bring it to our shop, or would you need to ship it? Just so you know, retuning non-Isthmus pans typically starts at $250, plus shipping, which can bring the total to around $450 depending on where you’re located.
