PETER LEVITOV - Jacksonville, FL

Peter Levitov, is an experimental multi-instrumentalist and improvisational composer. He first laid hands on a PANArt Hang in the summer of 2009. “At that moment I knew what I would be doing with the rest of my life.” He has been playing Handpan/Pantam and teaching professionally since 2011, traveling the country and the world in search of new sounds and singing steel family near and far.

He has filled his days with all things Handpan; facilitating workshops and immersions, performing, busking, teaching, building, visiting players and builders, and always seeking the ever elusive perfect sound. This journey has provided a broad and deep body of work and experiences to draw upon. His primary goal is to save his students time in the quest towards their ideal playing experience and to share the richness of this evolving global art form.
