I'm a professional musician, drummer, teacher, world percussionist and proud father. Rooted in Northeast Pa, I've been playing drums since the age of 7 and have been teaching for over 10 years. I'm a Berklee College of Music grad and have had the incredible opportunity to play and learn from some of the worlds best musicians. I have been playing handpan since 2013, and have fallen deeply in love with them. I hope I can either inspire or move you through my music. Music is my way to meditate & give back to this world.

Chicago based handpan player, Maxwell Edison has been sharing his music all over the midwest for the past 7 years. He first found the handpan like so many others, from a Youtube video, and it changed his life, taking him back to college. Max studied at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, focusing on Percussion performance, improvisation, music theory, and business. He has been a part of multiple percussion ensembles, principle percussionist of the SI Civic Orchestra, and busking for the past 3 years in and around Chicago. Max enjoys nature, live concerts and sharing music with new people!

Shlomo Calvo is a handpan musician and composer born and raised in Tel Aviv Israel. He first discovered the handpan in 2008, while traveling in India. He has been playing these wonderful instruments for the past 9 years, and has had dozens of students throughout the years. Shlomo’s notable achievements include: Overture’s Rising Star’s 2014, 2016. Music for: Kanopy Dance Company, 2014 season. Music for: Theater Lila’s The Suitcase Dream. Buku Fest 2015, 2016, 2017. TV appearances: HLN The Social Life . Shlomo joined the team at Isthmus Instruments in 2017, where he brings his knowledge and devotion to the art of handpan playing, teaching, and building everyday.

ADAM MAALOUF - New York City, NY
Mark D'Ambrosio is a percussionist, composer, educator, and rounded musician from Colorado's Western slope. Mark specializes as a player of the handpan, a new and unique percussion instrument. He has performed as a soloist and taught throughout Colorado, the greater United States, and Europe. When not performing Mark is an avid composer, arranger, and music producer; he has released two EPs to critical acclaim which have been featured in numerous creative projects. Mark’s writings have been featured in such publications as the Percussive Arts Society’s “Rhythm! Scene Magazine.” Additionally he serves as an educator for various area institutions in the Western Colorado region and is a founder of the Steel Mountain Handpan Gathering, Colorado’s largest Handpan event. Mark holds a BA in Percussion from Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction where he currently resides.
A New York City based composer and performer, Adam has shared his music in venues across the world including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, MoMA, St. Basil's Cathedral, Tanglewood, Wolf Trap, The BANFF Center and Austin City Limits. Adam holds a BA in Percussion Performance from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY and MBA in Music Business from Berklee School of Music. After school, curiosity drew Adam to India and the Middle East to study under renowned hand-percussion masters Anindo Chatterjee, Rohan Krishnamurthy, River Guerguerian, Glen Velez.
Adam approaches teaching music through a diverse and well-rounded rhythmic and musical vocabulary that will take students on a global journey around the Middle East, India, Cuba, Brazil, and beyond. Adam recently taught workshops in Middle Eastern Rhythm and Live Looping with Ableton at the Griasdi Handpan and World Music Festival in Haag, Austria and he regularly hosts workshops and retreats in New York area.
